@Pladizow @delong Global M2 money has very roughly 1:1 with GDP, but I’ve not looked into the real ratio over hundreds of years or anything. It depends on monetary velocity in the economy as key factor. The faster the velocity, the less money that is necessary. That good old MV=PQ equation.
